Social entrepreneurship for social inclusion - a new European perspective

 


The fourth module of the training which is implemented in order to improve the capacity of organizations involved in implementation of the project "Social entrepreneurship for social inclusion - a new European perspective" was held on 27 and 28 May in Bar and on 29 and 30 May 2014 in Podgorica. Given that social entrepreneurship is increasingly gaining in importance as it largely encourages identification and resolution of social problems as well as social and professional integration of harder employable category, training was divided into theoretical and practical part so the participants can have the opportunity to go through the necessary stages to run social enterprises through concrete examples.
Working session lasted from 09:00 to 16:30 on both days. Training was operated by Francesco Tommasi, employed in L'impronta Onlus - social cooperative in Italy.
The following topics were discussed:
- The concept of social entrepreneurship in the European context;
 - Models of governance and social objective of social enterprises: the Italian model;
- Development opportunities in the Balkans: small and large examples; defining objectives (mission);
- The capabilities and opportunities for development strategy: SWOT analysis;
- Business Plan;
- Knowledge of and creation of markets, marketing;
 - Optimization of production: the criteria of efficiency and effectiveness;
- Reports, calculating costs and revenues;
